This month we will be making two men's cards and two mini note cards. We also will be learning how to make our own envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board.
I am so excited that Close to my Heart came out with a stamp set with tools. This set is called "You're the Best" (C1571), found on page 87 of our Spring/Summer 2014 catalog.
We will be making this Father's Day card using the "You're the Best" stamp set. I used our White, Kraft and Pacifica card stock for this card. I also used the background paper from the Balloon Ride paper packet (X7180C). I embellished the card with our Black & Grey Epoxy Bubbles and Silver Shimmer Trim.
The Gone Fishing card is designed from our "Catch You Later" (D1580) stamp set, found on page 51 of the Spring/Summer 2014 catalog.
I used the Colonial White card stock for the base of this card. I also used the background paper from the Timberline paper packet (X7182B). Both of these cards could be used for Father's Day or Birthday depending on your need.
Who can't use a note card? These next two cards were made from our Mini stamps found on page 119 of our Spring/Summer 2014 catalog. The first card was designed by Gail Gross, using the "Parasol" (M1040) mini stamp. I used the "Perfect Polka-Dot Day" (M1036) stamp for the second mini card.
Both these note cards are 4 x 4 in size. I used both our Silver Shimmer trim and Glitter paper on them. We will be making envelopes for the two mini cards. The flowers on the Perfect Day card were cut from the Cricut using our Art Philosophy Collection.
