NOVEMBER'S CARD & SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP

"CONFETTI WISHES" OCCASIONAL CARDS

This month we will be making cards using the B & T Duos paper "Confetti Wishes".  I love this paper, it is so fun!!

Here is a sample of one of the three cards we will be making.

We will be using the stamp set Lovely Birthday.(B1462) 

SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP

Whether you are brand new at scrapbooking or a seasoned scrapbooker this workshop will be fun for you.  

We will be making two, two-page layouts.  The first layout we will be using the Brushed paper and assortments to create these lovely scrapbooking pages.

                 The second two-page layout, we will be using the Pathfinding paper and assortments.

                  

Dates for the November classes are:

Saturday, Nov. 8th and 22nd.

The card workshop starts at 9:30 am on both days. The cost is $10 and includes all the supplies to make three cards. 

The scrapbook workshop starts at noon on both days. The cost is $20 and includes all the papers and embellishments to complete the two layouts, plus page protectors for the layouts.

OCTOBER'S CARD CLASS & WORKSHOP

This month I am offering a card class as well as a workshop on the same day!!  You can choose to come to the card class or the workshop or both if you like!

SNOWHAVEN CARD CLASS

It's never too early to be ready for the holidays and this month, we will be making three lovely cards using the Snowhaven B&T Duos paper.  I just love this paper, it's so happy!

YULETIDE CAROL GIFT BOX AND CARDS

We will be using the Yuletide Carol B&T Duos paper for this workshop.  Even though the paper is from one of our Christmas paper packets it is very universal!

 You will be making four cards, one of each design.  I will have a variety of sentiments for you to choose from, birthday, get well, thanks, etc... so that you can choose the sentiment that you want.  

The cost of the workshop is $20 and will include all the materials to complete the project.

The card class will start at 9:30 and the workshop will start at noon.  If you choose to do both classes, you are welcome to bring a lunch.  We will start with the card class, break for lunch and then onto the workshop.

AUGUST STAMP CLASS

COUNTRY-BORN

We will be using the stamp set Country-Born D1543 on pg.59 ($17.95) of the Close to My Heart Annual Inspirations catalog.

I love the sayings and the wonderful stamp images of this set!!  It can be used for so many different cards.  The following cards are what we will be making for our August 16th stamp class.

I used this pretty Ice Green paper from my stash and stamped the tree and saying image with our Exclusive Ink Topiary (Z2155).  It's a simple note card.

For this card, I used an older paper pack called Dakota.  I stamped both the image and saying using our Exclusive Ink Barn Red (Z2104).  

This card was fun and simple to make.  I used our Colonial White (1388) and Chocolate (X5643) cardstock. We will be using a piercing tool to make the frame around the horses.

This is one of my favorite cards.  It says "country & simple" to me.  I used our Colonial White (X5643) cardstock for this card.  The image is stamped with our Exclusive Ink Cocoa (Z2114).  I used our new ShinHan Touch Twin Markers on this card (R11, Carmine, Y222, Golden Yellow and GY235 Sap Green).

This year, besides having a stamp class once a month, I will also be offering a workshop class, starting in September.  This is where we will be making projects other than cards-like scrapbooking pages, home decor, albums, gift ideals, Base & Bling etc...Those will be posted each month along with the card classes.  Here is the schedule for the year, so that you can save the dates:

June's Stamp of the Month set is called "Kaboom!"  This set can be used both for card making and scrapbooking.

MAY'S MEDLEY-MEN AND MINI NOTE CARDS

This month we will be making two men's cards and two mini note cards.  We also will be learning how to make our own envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board.

I am so excited that Close to my Heart came out with a stamp set with tools.  This set is called "You're the Best" (C1571), found on page 87 of our Spring/Summer 2014 catalog.

We will be making this Father's Day card using the "You're the Best" stamp set.  I used our White, Kraft and Pacifica card stock for this card.  I also used the background paper from the Balloon Ride paper packet (X7180C).  I embellished the card with our Black & Grey Epoxy Bubbles and Silver Shimmer Trim.

The Gone Fishing card is designed from our "Catch You Later" (D1580) stamp set, found on page 51 of the Spring/Summer 2014 catalog.  

I used the Colonial White card stock for the base of this card.  I also used the background paper from the Timberline paper packet (X7182B).  Both of these cards could be used for Father's Day or Birthday depending on your need.

Who can't use a note card?  These next two cards were made from our Mini stamps found on page 119 of our Spring/Summer 2014 catalog.  The first card was designed by Gail Gross, using the "Parasol" (M1040) mini stamp.  I used  the "Perfect Polka-Dot Day" (M1036) stamp for the second mini card.  

Both these note cards are 4 x 4 in size.  I used both our Silver Shimmer trim and Glitter paper on them.  We will be making envelopes for the two mini cards.   The flowers on the Perfect Day card were cut from the Cricut using our Art Philosophy Collection.

IVY LANE Workshop on the Go Cardmaking Kit

This month will be using one of Close to my Hearts cardmaking kits.  These kits come with all the materials, exclusive accessories, and instructions to create 15 beautiful cards (5 each of 3 designs) inspired by Jeanette Lynton!

 The beauty of  these cards is that we can use them for several occasions, Mother's Day,  Birthday, or as a Friendship card.  The choice will be yours!

March Stamp Class-Birthday Extravaganza

Who doesn't love getting a birthday card, especially a homemade one!

The new Skylark paper from CTMH is beautiful.  This sketch showcases both sides of one of the sheets of paper.   I love the softness of the colors.   The bird image is from the "Believe in Yourself" stamp set (C1574).

I love this stamp set "Mother's Day" (C1577).  It takes me back to my childhood and my mom baking goodies for us kids.  The paper used in this card is from our Jubilee paper packet.

This card is so colorful, it exudes cheerfulness.    It can be used for either a woman or mans birthday.  It is a simple card using three of our Washi Tape trims.  The "Happy Birthday" stamp (M1033) is from our Mini stamp collection.

This card says it as it is, "Age is just a number".  What a fun card made from our stamp set "Just a Number" ( D1514).  This card is displaying our  Ivy Lane paper packet.  The scalloped square and numbers are cut from the Cricut machine.
