CHRISTMAS CARD WORKSHOP

  I will be holding my first Christmas Card Workshop in October!  

Gail Gross an Independent Close to my Heart Consultant designed these lovely cards

 and has graciously allowed me to use them in my workshop.  The cards are so pretty!  Who 

wouldn't want to get one of them in the mail!

The workshop will consist of making two of each of the five cards shown in the photo.   Cost 
of the workshop is $20 for all of the paper products to complete 10 cards.  In addition, each
 participant will need to purchase the following embellishments to finish the cards the way

 they are shown:

Z1752 - Clear Sparkles - $2.95

Z1263 - Bitty Sparkles - $2.95

Z2012 - Gold Sequins - $2.95

Z3090 - Red Enamel Gems - $3.95

If want to create the card box, there will be an additional $10 charge for the materials to
 cover and decorate the box.  Class date:

Saturday, October 24th  9:30 am in my home craft studio in Dewey, AZ

If you are unable to attend the event once you confirm your registration, you will
 receive a kit with photo instructions.  If you are out of the area and wish to purchase a kit,
 a mailing charge will be added.

OCTOBER'S CARD CLASS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!

Here are two samples of the cards we will be making this month.

Sunburst

There are several new techniques in this class we will be learning.  The first card is the "sunburst" techniques.  This card will be showcasing all six paper patterns from the Sangria paper packet from Close to my Heart.(not the paper pattern in the sample)

The second technique we will be learning is called the "windowpane".  Windowpane cards look great but can be labor intensive.  This card uses a quick, easy method to obtain the paneled look.  Find out what the trick is by attending this months card class.  The third card is a surprise!

Cost of the card class is $12 to make the three cards and includes all the materials.  Dates for the class are:

SEPTEMBER'S CARD CLASS

We will be making these three birthday cards using the Close to my Hearts "Workshop on the Go"  Kaleidoscope Cardmaking Kit.  To learn more about this kit and the class dates hope on over to my Card Class on this blog.

BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA-FEBRUARY CARD CLASS

February means Birthday Extravaganza for our card classes.  We will be making six birthday cards, which should stock you up a bit.  I am very excited about the cards we will be making!

 Class dates are:

Saturday, February 7th

Saturday, February 14th

There will be a 9:30 am and 12 noon class on both days.  Classes will be limited this month due to the amount of cards we will be making.  Please email me at lavenderose.2@gmail.com to reserve your spot and indicate which day and time slot you want.

 Cost of this class is $15 and includes all materials except a Journaling pen.  You will need to bring your own journaling pen or I will have some available for you  to purchase($3.50)  on the day of class.  A black 5mm metal tip will work best for what we are doing.

Heartstrings

We will be using the paper from Close to my Hearts new paper packet "Heartstrings", for our January card class.  The theme will be centered around Valentine's Day, but you will have several options on the sentiments, in case you don't need all Valentine cards.  We will also be making a fun "surprise" project.

Cost is $10 and includes all materials to make the projects.

NOVEMBER'S CARD & SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP

"CONFETTI WISHES" OCCASIONAL CARDS

This month we will be making cards using the B & T Duos paper "Confetti Wishes".  I love this paper, it is so fun!!

Here is a sample of one of the three cards we will be making.

We will be using the stamp set Lovely Birthday.(B1462) 

SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP

Whether you are brand new at scrapbooking or a seasoned scrapbooker this workshop will be fun for you.  

We will be making two, two-page layouts.  The first layout we will be using the Brushed paper and assortments to create these lovely scrapbooking pages.

                 The second two-page layout, we will be using the Pathfinding paper and assortments.

                  

Dates for the November classes are:

Saturday, Nov. 8th and 22nd.

The card workshop starts at 9:30 am on both days. The cost is $10 and includes all the supplies to make three cards. 

The scrapbook workshop starts at noon on both days. The cost is $20 and includes all the papers and embellishments to complete the two layouts, plus page protectors for the layouts.
